I
am a video game toolchain engineer that lives outside of Silicon Valley,
California. I am married to a beautiful and hilarious woman, and we have an
angel daughter who is almost 2 years old. I believe in America, disdain
bureaucracy and believe in Adam Smiths' invisible hand. I believe in cosmic
natural forces and evolution, and I believe that science is the only faith that
asks to be proven wrong. I believe in the power of music, the value of hardwork,
the freedom of knowledge and man's inherent right to pursue happiness. I believe
in zen and the striving for quan. I also believe in slack, and JR Bob Dobbs. I
believe in the magic of the internet, and have spent most of my life learning
how it all works. I've had a crazy life, and love it and cherish the memories
and even the mistakes I've made. I love the people in my life and even the
mistakes they've made. I believe everyone should read Life in the Woods by
Thoreau (at least once!). I am fond of photography, poetry, novels, short
stories, journalism, painting and film, but I don't pretend to be a critic
anymore. It may or may not be a defining factor of my character, but I
still find a great inspiration in Hamlet's
soliloquy, T-Bone Burnetts True False Identity, Matisse's Luxe, Calme et Volupté,
C.S. Lewis' Screwtape Letters, Carl Sagan's Demon Haunted World,
W.B. Yeats 1919, Isaac Asimovs Chronology of the World, and Gnarls Barkely
collected works.
